The original of these photos and tintypes belonged to my great grandparents, William Alonzo Bailey and Millie Martha Parker Bailey. When their daughter, Millie Bailey Babcock, died in 1970 her husband, George, gave the box of photos to me.
William Alonzo Bailey and Millie Martha Parker were married in Iroquois County, Illinois on September 9, 1882. Between 1882 and the late 1880's they moved to Kankakee, Illinois. Four of their children, Edna Leona "Vera", John Leslie, Frances Lillian, and Minnie Launs, were born in either Iroquois or Kankakee County. From Kankakee they moved to Oklahoma about 1899 where their two youngest children, Mary Elizabeth, my grandmother, and William Theodore were born. Millie Martha Parker was born January 16, 1862 in Green County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Sherman Parker. In 1870 the Parker family was in Champaign County, Illinois and by 1880 they had moved to Iroquois County. Mary E. Sherman Parker died April 5, 1925 and is buried at Mound Grove Cemetery in Kankakee. The date and place of death of Joseph Parker is unknown. The children of Joseph and Mary E. Sherman Parker are:		Mary Elizabeth Sherman Parker

John Lemon Bailey	William Alonzo Bailey was the son of John Lemon Bailey and Rebecca Kelly Bailey who were married April 23, 1840 in Madison County, Indiana. John Lemon Bailey was born February 14, 1818/19 in Scott County, Kentucky to George and Sarah Lemon Bailey. Rebecca Kelly was born June 7, 1821 to Reuben and Charity Martin Kelly of Kanawha County, Virginia (WV). Rebecca died in Iroquois County on December 3, 1869. Following the death of Rebecca, John married Hannah Lyman [Halston] in 1871. Following the death of Hannah in 1891, John married Phoebe Keath [Lewis] in 1893. John Lemon Bailey died in Watseka, Iroquois County on June 14, 1893.		Rebecca Kelly Bailey

Not all of the individuals in the photos are known to us. We are hoping that someone can assist us in identifying the mystery ones. I will be happy to share these with any family member who is interested. And, we have others which I have not submitted.

William A. Bailey Minnie Bailey Mahlon Bailey	William A. Bailey, Minnie Bailey, Mahlon Bailey. Written on back of this is Papa,, (W.A. Bailey), Mahlon and sister. By Minnie Babcock. We think sister is Minnie Bailey who married Charles Zumwalt. Minnie Babcock is the daughter of W.A. and Millie Parker Bailey.	Robert Danner Sarah Ann Bailey Danner	Pictured are: Robert W. Danner and Sarah Ann Bailey Danner. Sarah was the daughter of John Lemon Bailey and Rebecca Kelly Bailey. Standing is John Axtell who lived with them. The child is Lula Zumwalt, daughter of Charles and Minnie Bailey Zumwalt. When Sarah's sister, Minnie, died Sarah raised the daughter, Lula. Photo taken about 1900.
Unknown Bailey	Written on the back is "W.A. Bailey or brother". He doesn't really resemble W.A. Bailey or his brother, Mahlon. Could be one of the other brothers. Hopefully someone can assist in identifying this person.	Hannah Lyman Bailey	Hannah Lyman (Holston) was the second wife of John Lemon Bailey. They married in Iroquois County in 1871. She died 1891.
John Lemon Bailey and wife	John Lemon Bailey and wife. Written on back "Grandfather John L. Bailey and wife". We do not know if this is John L. Bailey's first wife, Rebecca Kelly, or his third wife, Phoebe Lewis. Phoebe had children from her first marriage. Perhaps some of her descendants can help identify this lady.	John Lemon Bailey and Unknown Woman	There is nothing written on the back of this photo. We have a photo of John Lemon Bailey's second wife, Hannah. This must be one of him with either the first wife, Rebecca Kelly or his third wife, Phoebe Lewis. We even thought that perhaps the woman is a daughter. Hopefully someone can help identify her.
Unknown Parker	On the back of this photo is written "I think this is mama's bro and family, a Parker. Bill Parker and family?" This was written by Minnie Bailey Babcock. Her mother was Millie Martha Parker Bailey who had four brothers, William, John, Edwin (Edmund), and Jasper. Photo taken in Watseka, IL.	Unknown Parker	On back is written "I think Ed Parker and Cynthia". Samuel Edwin (Edmund) Parker was born in 1859 in Ohio to Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Sherman Parker. We are not certain if this is Ed. Photo taken in Watseka, Illinois.
Unknown - Bailey, Kelly, Parker, Sherman The Photos, except the last one, were taken from tintypes.		Two Girls	The one sitting resembles Mary Elizabeth Parker daughter of Joseph and Mary Parker. She married Asa Leffel. They had two children, Daisy and Kittie. Photo was in group belonging to William A. and Millie Parker Bailey.

Man and Woman	We think this is a son or grandson of Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Sherman Parker. Photo was taken in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Was in a clooection of photos belonging to William Alonzo and Millie Martha Parker Bailey.
