A photo of the Illinois Central Railroad Depot in Clifton, IL. It was taken circa 1903. The man second from the right is my Great-Grandfather Edward E. Truitt. He worked for the I.C. RR for 57 years. He was still a teenager when this photograph was taken. He had to move to Iowa when Illinois passed a law that all railroad workers had to be at least 21.
